The App is owned and operated by Spiridonov Nikolai Aleksandrovich, IP. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the owner.

1.2 Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies solely to the InstaVPN App available on iOS and macOS platforms and does not extend to any third-party services or websites that are not under our direct control.


2. Information We Collect

2.1 No Required Personal Data
We do not require you to provide personal information (e.g., name, email, address) to use the App. We do not ask you to create an account or register, and we do not knowingly collect any information that could directly identify you.

2.2 Device and Usage Data
Certain data may be collected automatically to improve functionality and user experience:

  • Device Information: Model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (including Device ID and, if authorized, IDFA).
  • App Usage: Version, build number, session timestamps, pages/screens viewed, performance metrics, crash reports, and diagnostic information.

This data is used solely for internal analytics, debugging, and performance optimization. We do not use it to personally identify you or to track you outside of the App.

2.3 VPN Usage Data
We maintain a no-logs policy regarding your VPN sessions:

  • We do not record websites you visit or data you transmit while connected to the VPN.
  • We do not store any DNS queries.

Minimal session data (e.g., connection duration or server load) may be collected in aggregate to ensure optimal service quality. However, it cannot be used to identify individual users or their browsing activities.

2.4 In-App Purchases
The App offers subscription-based Premium services. These are processed via third-party platforms (e.g., AppHud and Apple’s in-app purchase mechanism). We do not store or process payment card details. We may receive non-personal data (e.g., subscription status) to enable or disable premium features accordingly.


3. How We Use the Collected Data

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

  1. Service Delivery: To provide VPN functionalities and ensure stable App operation.
  2. Performance and Analytics: To diagnose technical issues, enhance user experience, analyze usage, and improve features.
  3. Security and Compliance: To maintain network and application security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
  4. Notifications: To send essential updates, alerts, or changes regarding the App, if push notifications are enabled.

4. Third-Party Services

We use reputable third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, remote configurations, messaging, and purchase/subscription management. These providers have access only to the data necessary to perform their functions on our behalf.

4.1 Firebase

  • Crashlytics: Collects crash reports.
  • Analytics: Aggregates usage data.
  • Remote Config: Manages in-app configurations.
  • Messaging: Facilitates push notifications.

4.3 AppHud

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so that we can delete such data from our systems.


6. Data Security and Retention

6.1 Security Measures
We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard the information collected, including secure connections and encryption where feasible. Nonetheless, no method of data transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

6.2 Retention Period
We retain collected data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. Non-identifiable, aggregated information may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If any material changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
